Production and assembly hall 19. Foreground: a wide range of different robot system are assembled here
Construction of the new production and assembly hall 19 at the Gosheim location began in April 2014 and was completed in November 2014. HLS employees moved from Tuttlingen to Gosheim around the end of the year and started work at the new facility in January 2015. Thus begins a new era for employees of HLS, which began in Tuttlingen in 1998 at Paul-Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG with the development and assembly of customer-specific automation solutions for Hermle machining centres.
All automation solutions for Hermle machines based on robot technology are now produced in production and assembly hall 19. That includes complete systems extending from the RS 05 compact robot system through modular robot systems RS 1, 2 and 3 to RS-L, the robot system with linear linking, used to link multiple Hermle machining centre to a 7th axis via robot.

The new building also includes ultra-modern offices and common areas with over 1700 m2 of usable floor, giving HLS developers an ideal basis for creativity and a broad perspective of automation for Hermle products.
5-axis machining centres models C 50 and C 60 will also be assembled in the new assembly hall 19. The assembly hall is ideally designed for reliable assembly of large, heavy machining centres in particular. The C 60 weighs about 33 tons. There are no restrictions on crane systems and approach with sub-floor vehicles.
